I have installed Domoticz 2024.1, but now it does not find the Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Z-Stick Gen5. In the hardware can't find "OpenZWave USB" ?
Now I cannot install the Aeotec Gen 5 anymore. How can this problem be solved?

Openzwave has been deprecated in latest 2024.1 stable version because the Openzwave project has not been updated for years. Switch to Zwave-JS-UI https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Zwave-JS-UI
Or revert back to your backup before you updates Domoticz.

Can anyone explain how to install on Windows?

Is it possible to get updates without deprecated Openzwave? It functioned perfect. The alternative is a disaster! The Aeotec z-wave gen 5 is not visible in a raspberry 3b anymore. The documentation does not help.

Install 2024.2

I did. But that causes the problem of not seeing devices from a remote domoticz server (a server in the same domain -192.168.1.*).

If it is visible in Linux eg through command ls /dev/serial/by-id it should be visible Zwave-JS-UI if your docker compose file is correct.

In 20241,1 the openzwave functionality was removed.
In 2024.2 it is enabled again but still advised is to move to Zwave-JS-UI.
