Tutorial for installing/setting up Shelly?

I currently use 433Mhz devices to control the window shutters but would like to change over to Shelly.
I have bought 3 x 2.5 switches and can see them on the network...
Please point me in the right direction to integrate them. And please assume that I know nothing - keep it simple.
Thanks.

The most simple setup is to create a switch in Domoticz.
Hardware -> Dummy -> create virtual sensor -> choose switch.
Then edit the switch and fill in on action and off action like
http://192.168.1.11/relay/0?turn=on
and
http://192.168.2.21/relay/0?turn=off
This should be a good starting point.

Thanks guys. @HvdW didn't you used to support the Philips NAS years ago. You did a great job. It was my first NAS. Thanks for all your work there.

Hi all,
New to forum here.
I'm running domoticz on my synology nas the last couple of years, currently controlling just a sonoff basic switch.
Next month I will install on my house motorized windows shutters and i want to ask if Shelly plus 2PM is good choice in order to integrate the shutters with domoticz.
I want to be able to control the shutters locally, in case something happens with my nas / domoticz installation / network etc.
If yes, with the original firmware or tasmota???
Thanks!

You can use Shelly with MQTT with the ShellyTeacher application which transforms default Shelly MQTT into Domoticz MQTT Autodiscover compatible format. See

I found this today - Shelly Scanner
https://www.usna.it/shellyscanner/index_en.html
A really neat piece of software to manage and update Shellys.
I wish that it had an interface to Domoticz..
I still can't get Shellys running properly.

Oh yes several times.
I have 15 Shelly shutters, 5 plugs and 4 flood detectors. All devices except the flood detectors are mains powered and always online. The detectors only register if you trigger them first.
All firmware is uptodate. Domoticz and Helper are uptodate.
Here is the scan result with Shelly Teacher.

No comparison.
I am sending url commands to the Shellys and json commands to update virtual sensors and switches on Domoticz from my own python command schedule program to overcome this problem.
For me Shelly Teacher doesn't work. Anyhow there are more important things in life. The author of Shelly Scanner is not interested in developing something for Domoticz, I asked him.

Then better ask in the Shelly teacher forum topic why your gen2 devices are not discovered... Could be an easy fix.
