I saw this on Github........"Merge pull request #5754 from domoticz/
phase-out-openzwave-2 "
Is this the end of OpenZwave in Domoticz, if yes.... what is the latest Beta version which still runs OpenZwave?
The commit page (
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_ ... _-_Commits) on wiki does not seem to be updated with details anymore, and I do not fully understand how Github works, to see more details of this commit.

The current stable 2023.2 is the latest version that has (Open)Zwave support build-in.
As the underlying OpenZwave libraries have been abandoned for almost 2 years now and good (external) alternatives are available (with ZwaveJS and MQTT), maintaining Zwave support in Domoticz became to difficult.
Yes, it forces users to upgrade their environments and add other parts (docker, zwavejs, mqtt, etc) if they want to keep domoticz updated. Or stick with this version for now.
The problem here is that domoticz can not ‘compensate’ (not as an Open Source project) for the fact that some hardware vendors only support their products with the accompanying software parts for a short period of time.

As said for over a year ago, OpenZwave is no longer developed.
You had over a year to migrate... So keep using the stable until you migrated, or finally spent some time to migrate.
