Z-Wave devices from deleted Nodes keep re-appearing (MQTT)

Post by mjdb »

Some weeks ago I changed from build-in Zwave to Zwave via MQTT.
I had to delete several nodes and re-create them. It finally worked.

However, some deleted Nodes have still Devices in the Device-list.
When I delete these Devices, they re-appear after a restart of Domoticz or later at some other time.
Some Devices can not be deleted. When I try, Domoticz hangs.

The Nodes are not visible in Z-Wave JS UI.

I deleted them directly with SQL (sqlite3 - delete from DeviceStatus where ID=nnnn;)

Anyanoe any suggestion why this happens?

Disclaimer: If this has been answered before, please point me to that thread. I could not find any.

This is related to MQTT retained messages. You have to delete the retained messages from the Mqtt broker. See wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/MQTT#Dele ... ined_topic
