ZigbeeForDomoticz WiFi option in Connection Type

Dear forum-members,
I am a happy user of a RPi4b + Conbee II + Aqara T/rh sensor + Domoticz + ZigbeeforDomoticz plugin.
Of course, right now my Coordinator connection type is USB. My question to you is triggered from the WiFi option in the hardware settings of the Zigbeefor Domoticz plugin (thank you, pipiche). Is it possible to connect the Conbee II stick via USB to a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, install Raspberry Pi OS lite and Python and just the plugin (not Domoticz) on the Zero 2 W? Then use the Web UI option to couple my sensor to the Zero 2 W. And then install Domoticz and the plugin on my RPi4b and use the WiFi option to refer to the Pi Zero 2 W? Is that an option? So, basically making my own WiFi-based open-source Zigbee coordinator.
Before you start asking: my question arises from the large distance between my RPi4b and the Aqara sensor, which cannot be changed.
Kindly your thoughts about this.
