Quick question about decoupled mode

If you set an Aqara H1 switch in decoupled mode do you then see 2 devices created, one being the button and the other being the led / output state ?
Thanks

Can anyone help with this ?

I have these switches. I do not use them in decoupled mode but from what I understand, it means the relay that switches the load becomes independent of the switch, so the switch in effect becomes a remote control and the load is independently controlled.
I hope this helps some.

Thanks for the response, i am aware of what it means, I need to know if once in this mode the button and the relay are seen as 2 separate devices or if some scripting is required to access one or the other. I need to use the physical button to toggle an Ikea dimmable lamp on and off but want the LED in the switch to follow the state of the lamp, this way I can say if the lamp brighness is equal to 1% or greater set the LED on in the switch.

I would say try it out, configure as decoupled, make sure "allow new devices" is on and restart Domoticz and see what is created in "devices". Let us know what you find.

Didn't need a restart, as soon as I added the H1 to Z2M all the devices appeared in domoticz including the buttons to enable/disable decoupled mode on each switch. Obviously I will remove most those as they don't need to be visble but the button and the physical on/off output appear as 2 seperate devices, in fact once you enable decoupled mode you also have the option for single, double and hold as a button function.
The only annoying thing is that they are still using a relay inside to switch the output on and off so there is click / clunk noise when ever it is toggled, it does surprise me as the MOES version of the switch which being cheaper doesn't have all the software options uses either a Triac or a pair of high voltage FET's to switch the output on and off so it's operation is silent.
It may be a little quieter when it's installed in the wall but at present it's wired up on my desk for testing and the click is very loud !

Yeah, I have 6 of these in my house, the clicking as I walk around is pretty loud and now that you mention it maybe I will try some soundproofing.

I did a bit of a tear down on one of my spare switches, they use latching relays with 2 coils so ony need a brief on or off pulse to change their state, obviously as they are not trying to hold a relay in all the time when the switch is on this reduces the amount of power they need to bleed from the circuit in order to operate, but they are noisy

I imagine a fair proportion of the noise comes through the front so soundproofing the back box probably wouldn't do much but do you think it there is enough space to cover the relays with 4mm thick foam tape ?

Unfortunately far too compact to get any form of sound proofing in, I'm currently looking into designing a solid state drop in replacement for the relay, still can't believe the MOES version already has this but doesn't have any decoupled mode options

Hi
Did you ever get anywhere with this. I also have the H1 switches throughout my house and the click noise is getting quite annoying. Would be interested in a solution to this

Not yet, still in looking into it. Definitely possible to do but not sure I want the hassle of getting pcb's made etc. As much as I like the switches I may look for some thing else.

Let me know if you ever get round to this, or if you find any good quality silent switches with decoupled mode.
I have one 3 gang moes switch because I couldn't get a 3 gang h1. Love the silent operation but feels kind of cheap. Wouldn't want them throughout my house.
