Any chance for real support for KNX and MODBUS with multiple devices?

Modbus and KNX are standard protocols, this is good.
I believe that Modbus is good only for outputs devices (relay modules) but not for inputs because it always need polling from the master device. You can poll for thermal/humidity sensors, but can't poll alarm sensors continually to know if someone has entered your house.
I think that KNX is a really good multi-master protocol, where any input device can communicate with the controller and with other modules...It's a pity that KNX is not directly supported by Domoticz, as it's a real standard with many manufacturers.
