Hello

I recently bought a ZWA011 sensor (Aeotec Zwave Door Sensor).
I had it to zwavejsui, and with MQTTAuto, domoticz add me 5 devices (4 switches and 1 text).
The 4 switches devices are for Window State, Tamper State, Battery Level and Motion Sensor Status.
The text device is "notification_access_control_door_state".

I was happy, and thought that everything was OK. But not !!

When I open my door, the door device was not changing state. Only text device was updated ("regular position" VS "door is closed").
I double check everything, and found that the Binary Sensor (Zwave) was never updated in the controller when the door was changing state.

I contact Aeotec support asking if it was normal. They answers me (very quickly) that Binary Sensors are deprecated for that, and notification should be used.
They give me an hidden parameter (parameter 22, 1 byte, value 1) to activate binary report. And it works very well.

I search domoticz forum, and found nothing about using Notification for door switch state. So if it could helps somebody, I share my experience.

And last but not least, is it possible to enhanced domoticz to support Door Switch State with "Notification_access_control_door_state" ?

Did you ever solve this? Looking to install door/windows sensors myself and been looking to use either Aetec ZWA011 or Fibaro FGDW-002-X.

Recently installed this one in combination with Z stick 5 and Zwave Js Ui.

Yes, works fine, I ended up getting the Aeotech gen 7 stick and the zwa012 sensor (pro version) which works as expected and without problem with Dz and zwavejsui in a container setup.
