Domoticz

Hello,
Normally I use the shelly mqtt plugin to handle my 3 shelly-1 devives. Now I installed a empty domoticz on a new pi with no devices. Mosquitto is installed, mqtt autodiscovery and mqtt lan enabled in domoticz. New devies is enabled. I took a new shelly, enabled mqtt with the new ip-adress and switched it on and off. Nothing happened in domoticz.
What is to do, to get the shelly1 device into domoticz? Thanks a lot.

Shelly does not support the MQTT Autodiscover protocol that Domoticz is supporting.

So bumping this up...

Since I own some gen2 devices now and still getting deeper into mqtt, I 'm looking for topics with information.

For the Shelly devices I always used the Shelly Python plugin.
But since I have the gen2 devices I also use ShellyTeacher4Domo mqtt to get the devices in Domoticz.

Reading this thread I was wondering, what has to be/can be adjusted where to get this as default fixed?
Do we need to contact Shelly or does something needs to be changes in the default Domoticz hardware (MQTT Auto discovery Client Gatewat with LAN Interface"?

I noticed since a whilo now that Shelly doesn't advertise anymore with Domoticz as Home Automation Platform.....

I'm not blaming anybody, I just would like to know the "how/why"
