Looking for recommendations for good, reliable Zigbee plugs. I need 16A plugs that have energy monitoring. I have a CC2652RB coordinator and am usi g zigbee2mqtt.

The Tuya Ts011f_plug_3 plugs I just bought, switch on and off at random times and at 5 -10 times per second. Anything you connect to them, you will destroy.

Just avoid all tuya, it's a lottery, there is perhaps 20/30 models, with the same amount of clones, and you can have so much suprises with them, I think in the packages we can found all issues possibles on plugs.
And not possible to be sure having the one you have ordered, even they are same visually, you can have a new one, a same one with a not working firwmware, or a complete clone ordered at the same brands but with a new manufacture name.

Drop the CC2652RB and get yourself a Conbee 2. Use the plugin from @Thorgal789 and connect all your devices. If you happen to stumble upon a unrecognized device the DeCONZ community is there to assist you, Mind you: Thorgal789 and his companions saved me several times.

I'm going to look into his plugin. I have had many problems with my current system, to the point that monit doesn't even keep it running. I now monitor the energy use on a certain plug that I know of varies almost continuously so that if the value hasn't changed for at least 45 minutes, it restarts Zigbee2mqtt through a dzvents script.

Zigbee2mqtt is my most vulnerable plugin at the moment.

i'm switching 1 by 1 my plugs with the niko zigbee stopcontact.
It's cost more but then i be sure it's works.
No with my plugs sometime the switch do not power of even if i push the buttons.
Then in need to unplug them en leave them 1 day unplugged to work again

My zigbee2mqtt setup has been working flawlessly with a zzh stick and mqtt autodiscovery. I use both blitzwolf and tuya plus with power meters with no issues at all. I would not use plugins unless there is no working native solution. The built in autodiscovery works excellent for me.
