Zigate Stick update to Sonoff CC2652
Posted: Monday 17 October 2022 14:49
Just to inform you that I updated my Domoticz environment from a Zigate V1 usb stick to a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 Plus USB (based on TI CC2652) on Zigbee for Domoticz plugin version stable6
It went fine. I only had to re-pair all devices but in Domoticz everything stayed the same (IDX, names etc).
I more or less plugged out the old USB stck and plugged in the new one.
Actions:
1. update Sonoff USB to latest master Z-Stack firmware https://github.com/Koenkk/Z-Stack-firmw ... /README.md
2. Backup domoticz
3. Disable (not delete!!) Zigbee for Domoticz plugin (menu Setup-Hardware)
4. Switch USB sitcks.
5. Restart Domoticz
6. Update plugin configuration with changed Zigbee Coordinator stick type (from Zigate to Texas Instruments) and new Serial Port USB address
7. Enabled plugin again. Plugin started with old configuration but empty USB Coordinator.
8. Start repairing all devices.
Thanks pipiche (and other contributers) for your great work!
