One slider switch to rule them all-possible?

I've got multiple rollers/shutters installed for my living room .
I prefer to have a single slider switch based on % rather than having to control 7-9 devices seperately all the time
I can do this with scene's I guess, but that's fixed.... I wonder if it's possible to use one dummy slider as "master", set it to for example 72% and all linked roller shutters will also move to 72%.
I tried with the slave option - linked "roller 4" with a dummy switch "Living room". When I set a position on "Living Room", the slider from "roller 4" gets updated in the interface, but the device itself does not move/action.
Is this somehow possible, or should I stuck with multiple scenes?
