Fibaro Walli Dimmer (FGWD111) does not respond on switch in Domoticz

Post by roblom »

I have a Fibaro Walli Dimmer FGWD111, everything works fine and the devices are added when I include it to my zwave network. But only the switch (or level) does not respond, so when I click it on, the lamp doesn't respond. The dimmer does respond to the physical switch and I also calibrated it.
I tried excluding it, removing the devices from domoticz, reboot, include it again, but it stays the same.
When i go to the open zwave control panel and click on the submit button of the up, the lamp switches on.
Anybody an idea what can be wrong?

Does somebody have this walli dimmer working? Tried several resets, excluding, including, changed settings and then again everything works except for the virtual switch.

No idea what kind of system, hardware and versions you use... only 1 device? No further info so difficult to support your case.. :o
What software for Zwave do you use for instance?

Last week I was rebuilding my Zwave again and had the same sort of error.. Some zwave-devices, like the Qubino Flush Dimmer Plus ZMNHDD and AEON Labs Smart Switch 6 ZW096 didn't respond to on/off commands and dimming didn't work to. I was blaming Domoticz but to early I guess now. I could not even exclude these devices in Zwave2MQTT, etc..

So I took out my Z‐Stick Gen5 USB Controller off the Synology and connected it to my Windows PC and started the software called Z-Wave PC Controller. Then I was able to delete the dead devices and included the devices again.
After I connected the controller to the Synology and restarted Zwave2MQTT all the dead devices were gone in the Control Panel of Zwave2MQTT and the new devices were there! and after a while the were visible and useable in Domoticz!

I suggest to try my "workaround"

Best regards
Synology with Domoticz build (V2024.7) in Docker

I use a Raspberry Pi latest beta of Domoticz, a Z‐Stick Gen5 USB Controller and OZW. I'm able to exclude and include the walli dimmer and after exclude I'm able to delete all devices and after include all devices were added again but the dimmer and on/off functionality from Domoticz doesn't work.
