What is the Best way to update domoticz on synology

Have been running domoticz on my synology in docker for quite some time, but how can I best a update.

With DSM 6.2...... I fist make a backup, from docker menu settings=>export. and also a Domoticz database backup(from Domoticz settings menu).
So if something with the new release is not good you can get the old Domoticz docker container back in seconds.


Then in Docker get the new Domoticz version in Registry, search for "Domoticz" and in the search results get "Domoticz/Domoticz" and Download it, I use "Latest" but you can select what you need.

Then stop the Domoticz Docker container. Container Action=>Stop
then empty the container Action=>Reset
then start the container again, Action=>Start.

And now you have the new Domoticz container running.
All the Docker settings it keeps from the old Domoticz container, but if you have a complex non standard custom setup you might have to do some additional tinkering to get things running after the update

But for a basic Domoticz setup it is simple..... backup, download new version, stop container, reset container, start container..... done......
