Domoticz control of Alexa devices

Hi,
I have voice control of Alexa and Domoticz devices via Controlicz. This has proven to be very reliable. I still have Smartwares and even Home Easy devices in use and they are controlled both by switches (via Domoticz) and voice. ( via Controlicz)
However, sometimes switches are preferable to voice control, for example late at night, in bathrooms, and so on. Unfortunately, there appears to be no battery on/off switches for Alexa devices..probably because the power for continual WiFi would be too great.
So, what I would like to do is to be able to use some conventional switch...those recognized by Domoticz for example, and then get Domoticz to fire off the appropriate command to the Alexa device. These would even allow Domoticz scheduling to be used on Alexa devices...right now I am having to maintain Alexa scheduling and Domo Scheduling as separate worlds.
Ok, the above is what I would like...does anyone know if it is possible, as described. All suggestions are gratefully received.
George
