Unable to pair a previously paired Zigbee device (ZigbeeForDomoticz and Sonoff USB)

I have just upgraded from a Zigate V1 (which suddenly died) to a Sonoff USB dongle.
With the magic of ZigbeeFor Domoticz plugin it just all 'worked' with minimal hassle of repairing devices.
I noticed that I had to 'prepare device for a full reset' (in pugin interface) for a number of devices to repair - I can't remember having to do this for any previous repairing.
There is one device that I just can not get to repai.
It is an icasa filament bulb.
When I was repairing it was showing in the logs as being replaced but just wasn't working.
I tried deleting it from Domoticz but it didn't delete from the plugin management page.
I edited (rightly or wrongly!) DeviceList-12.txt from the data directory within the plugin directory.
Now when I try and repair nothing appears in the Domoticz log.
I can pair other devices and can even repair another identical bulb.
What logs/debugs do I need to enable to troubleshoot this?
It seems that the device is not known to Domoticz or the plugin but seems to be 'stuck' in the USB stick?
Anyway - thanks for the very smooth transition from Zigate to Sonoff...... I thought I was going to be without my Zigbee network for a week.... thankfully Amazon Prime delivered within 24 hours!
