Force Zwavejs2mqtt devices to change ID in domoticz, so that it can include name and location

Hello,

I have successfully migrated from Openzwave to Zwavejs2mqtt.
I have 1st discovered all my nodes without any fancy names and location.
Now that I have entered this info in Zwavejs2mqtt Control Panel, I would like my devices to Automatically (if possible) change their ID with names and location.

I tried to play a bit with the "retain " parameter", both in section *MQTT" and "Home Assistant" of Zwavejs2mqtt settings, without success

Would like to have this as well, current;y the only way for me to achieve this is by deleting the Domoticz ZwaveJS2MQTT devices and let them auto import again.

How about you name the nodes with a correct name and location ? But maybe I don't understand it 100%...

Hello.

You are right, it seems names and location, when set in Zwaje2MQTT, are automatically replacing the precious discovered device names in DZ.

In DZ, I had to do some devices clean-up some days after, for removing the remaining wrong named devices.
Also, when performing this, there is probably some clean-up to do in MQTT retained topics, with MQTT explorer.

If you rename a device in Zwave2MQTT after it is discovered in Domoticz, will it create a new device or does it rename the exciting one also in Domoticz after a rediscovery?
