Cannot add temperature humidity sensor to dashboard

I have a temperature humidity sensor on Domoticz "temperature" tab, that is receiving measurements from a script in my raspberry pi. All is working fine, except that when I click on the Add to/Remove from Dashboard star button nothing happens, i.e., the device is not added to the dashboard. I have tested and I am able to add other devices to the dashboard.
This is the device info
8 ESP 14058 1 Temperature Humidity Temp + Humidity THGN122/123/132, THGR122/228/238/268 0, 14.0;39.0 -
and ESP is a "dummy" device. Thank you in advance for any help.

And if you just create a new temp/hum sensor from the ESP Dummy device, can you put that on the dashboard?
The sensor does not need to be filled with data. You can delete it after the test.

Indeed, I can add it to the dashboard in this way

Interestingly, as soon as I start sending data to it from the raspberry it does not display on the dashboard anymore. Hmmm

I am sending the data using domoticz API/JSON URL's
