Does anyone know if eithe rmotion or door sensors exist that can switch a power plug through a group binding? Switching through a script is typically slower and requires domoticz to run.

I use this mechanism with my zwave plugs (garage lights switch on as soon as a door opens) but I have not found any zigbee motion/door sensor devices that allow me to do the same. The ones I have (sonoff, ikea, Lidl, blitzwolf, ...) don't allow any bindings to switch other devices .

Are you sure for the ikea one ? From my memory this one support group bindings, even naturaly direclty paired with a bulb without coordinator.
But seriously idk how many delay you have when you say it s slower, you can loose lot of feature using direct bind, less control, less possiblities ( 4 switches for the same group), less monitoring, less requests possibles (the broadcast delay is lower than the unicast, take care at spam).

The utility of it realy depend of the number of device in the group.

Never see one for door sensor (cluster not compatible)

The IKEA sensor should be able to buy I can't seem to get it to work

What are you using as zigbee application ?
You can try to the native touchlink to test, long press during 10s (whith bulb and detector close to each other) , but they will be not usable using domoticz after that, and idk if it will work for another brand than ikea for the bulb.

You need too have a bulb/plug compatible with this feature. If it s tuya stuff ....

Zigbee2mqtt. Combining with a Lidl plug won't work...

Lidl plug are tuya one but the one I know have the good clusters.
Try to ask in z2m forum/github, I can be wrong but I don't see a reason for it don't work.
