Raspi does not boot into GUI after Dashticz installation

Raspi does not boot into GUI after Dashticz installation.
When Raspi boots into GUI (as it did before Dashticz installation) I get asked to enter the password for user pi.
But password is not accepted.

For the first attempt there is just a text message for a very short time "Cannot currently show the desktop".

When entering the password for a second time or additional try I receive the message "Incorrect password", which is definitely not true as I can logon via SSH.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks and regards, Tom

You used the Dashticz automatic install?

The automatic install updates your system. This may change/add quite some files. Do you still have sufficient disk space?

Hi Lokonli,

yes, I used the automatic install for Dashticz.
Checking the free disk space shows that there is still enough free disk space:

After some more investigation, it does not seem to be dependent to the Dashticz installation.

Good to hear.

Did you manage to solve it already?
