Hi, currently using domoticz with mainly Lightwaverf and use tado for heating all on an rpi3b and rfxcom.
Wondering if anyone is using soma smart shades2 though domo, and is it easy to set up ?
Thanks in advance
Phil

Hi @Phil C

This looks quite doable, as I see a number of Api implementations and even one from Soma itself.

Also a Node Red node exists.

So decide which route you want to take and if you need support.

Hi FireWizard,
Thanks for your reply.
I must admit, my understanding of api’s and red’s are very limited, almost approaching zero.
I’ve read a bit about lua, but use blocky for nearly everything I do, but know that in its self is very limited so can’t do all I’d like too lol. Would it be down that line ?
Don’t really want to buy them before how I understand to get them working tbh, is there a link or something where by I could get a rough idea of what I’m doing please.

Hello @Phil C

Yes there are several links which point to an API:

1. https://support.somasmarthome.com/hc/en ... 4-HTTP-API
This is the API from Soma

2. https://www.instructables.com/Connect-S ... aspberry-/
This can be used as well

3. Also Node Red has a node:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/node-red- ... mart-shade

This would not be too difficult to integrate it into Domoticz.
I would use Node Red and whether I would use the http API from Soma or de node, I do not know.
I think I would compare, if I have connection.

Do you plan to use the Soma Connect module?

Regards

Have you seen this viewtopic.php?f=56&t=16952

As it is an old topic it could be outdated.
