Hello,
would like to know a way to update my april 2020 stable to these hotfix releases. Have no update button in my settings just because my release here is stone old.
Version: 2020.2
Build Hash: b63341bc0
Compile Date: 2020-04-26 13:47:55
dzVents Version: 3.0.2
Python Version: 3.7.3 (default, Jul 25 2020, 13:03:44) [GCC 8.3.0]
Here are the hotfix releases unable to grasp: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_ ... _-_Commits
13009 0450852fe 20210225 HEOS Merge PR 4665 from MarcBeige; Increase buffer size for HEOS to allow more then 6 players
13007 658e30b6b 20210225 Plugin manager Add onTimeout functionality to secure TCP
I would NOT go beta, just only the stable hotfix releases. The update updaterelase script only pull the same version, where is the updatehotfix script?

Howto update to stable hotfix release?
There is no such thing as stable Hotfix releases.
There is a stable 2020.2 and there are many Beta’s. The list you are refering to shows all Beta’s release after the Stable with there changes. When you download the Beta (manual or using the Beta channel and update button) you get the one at the top of that list.
If you want to apply certain changes (commits) on the Stable, you need to do it yourself by applying these individual commits to the Master branch and compile everything.
But it will not always be easy to do so as most changes in the Beta branch are based on previous changes made in the Beta branch. Therefor there is a good chance that you will not be ably to just simply apply the relevant commits to the Master branch. But maybe it works if the things you are after (HEOS?) has not been changed earlier in the Beta branch.
Personal note: although they are Beta’s, most beta’s are quite stable especially when you are using hardware modules that haven’t been changed
