Domoticz App does not update switch status

Hello,
I have a new domoticz setup with only 1 switch added using MQTT.
To accomplish this I used this dutch manual(https://domoticz-nl.blogspot.com/2018/0 ... len_9.html)
Maybe not relevant but I'll add it anyway.
Now I installed the domoticz app on 2 different phones, one iphone and one andriod.
When the switch status changes in the webinterface I will see the change imediately. but on both phones I need to restart the app before I see the changes.
it doesn't matter if I use the web inferface, the app of the other phone or the physical button.
the only way the change gets detectect by the app is if I change the status using the app on the specified phone.
How can I update the switch status on the app automatically?
