Dear Domoticz user,

I recently have updated a lot of Wiki pages related to the new user manual Getting started and further (Configuration, Customization, Automation, Scripts, Hardware, Plugins).

If you feel important information for a new Domoticz user is missing or incorrect please reply on this topic and I will fix it. Also when you created a Python hardware plugin you can mark it here and I will add it to the wiki plugin list.

If you want to create a specialized topic on the wiki please contact forum user waaren by PM for a Wiki user account. Send him the wiki username you want to use and your email addres.

The Wiki is still work in progress but in my opinion it is now better usable and a good alternative for the outdated (2015) PDF manual.

Thank you for your help!

PS
I have no Zwave and RF hardware so those pages are still not up to date.
Also the Wiki getting started is based on Stable Domoticz so please do not add or propose functionality for the getting started pages if that is only available in Beta!
When a new stable is released the wiki pages have to be modified for this.

Many thanks for the time and effort you have put into this. 👏👏

I am sure I am not the only one appreciating this very much!

Gentle bump up. I suppose nobody has remarks about the content of the main documentation in the wiki? :-)
If you do please feel free to comment!

I suppose the ZWave (and RFX/RFLink?) part needs a lot of extra information. But as I have no Zwave implementation I cannot help a lot here..... :-(
