Grouping wall switch to socket

I have a Neo Coolcam 2 channel wall switch which turns on a light. What I want to do is "link" one of the switches to Neo Coolcam Power Plug. I know how to do it using Domoticz but I wonder if it is possible to do it with just Z-Wave.

My guess was groups. This is what I did:
2 channel switch is number 68 (0x44) and one of the power plugs that need to turn on with the switch is 11 (0x0B). The wall switch has 3 groups (Z-Wave, Node Management, Groups & Network).
The 2 channel switch has 3 groups, lifeline and "Sending report endpoint 1" and "Sending report endpoint 2" so I assumed that Group 2 is linked to the left switch and group 3 to the right switch. Using the plus I added 11 to group 2. I turned the wall switch on and off and nothing happened. I tried to add 11 to the lifeline, on and off, nothing happened. I'm sure that I am just not grasping this. Is it possible to do what I want to do without Domoticz?

(The reason I want this is because for the basic lights I want a backup in case something is off with Domoticz)
