Master slave setup gives no devices

Maybe I understand this functionality wrong.
My situation: I have two raspberry pi's. Both with Domoticz beta 2020.2 - 12467. Running smooth. I added the second one, a few days ago. It is emty with just for testing some dummy sensors. 1 temperature and one text device.
In the master Domoticz I added the device: Domoticz remote server with settings:
ip-adres of the slave, 6144 and and the newly created slave username and password.

In the slave I just created this username and password in usermanagement and switched on sharing, and almost all devices including the tab for temperature and other devices (overige). I tried viewer, user and administrator as setting.

I was expecting that this slave devices would be available under devices in the Master domoticz. But this is not happening.

Log Master: "Status: Domoticz Remote: connected to: 192.168.188.63:6144"
Log Slave: " Status: Incoming connection from: 192.168.188.34".

But still no devices from slave on Master. Do I understand this wrong, or am I missing something?

Hi,

Can you try to configure your Motherboard Sensors on your Slave pi and check if they are transfered to your Master pi?

Regards

I just added a P1 cable to the smart energy meter and the motherboard sensors. Both work well on the same system (slave), but should they appear in the device list on the master? On the same name as in slave? I do not see them.

Edit: The P1 devices do appear now in master as device under the name of hardware: Domoticz - Remote Server. The raspberry pi slave motherboard sensors and the dummy devices from slave do not appear in the device list of master. Should they?

Hi,

Did you activate "Accept new hardware", either permanent or for 5 minutes in the Master?
If so, restart your Domoticz Master

Beside the P1, you should have the motherboard sensors.
Not the virtual devices.

I just activated allow new hardware for 5 minutes. No slave motherboard sensors did appear in master. Restart of domoticz master neither.
Strange.
The user on slave has access to all exept floorplan and groups.

Hi,

I assume you followed the wiki: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Setting_up_Device_sharing.

Yes I did and now the energy meter devices (p1) are coming through. Mainboard sensors of raspberry of slave and dummy devices from slave are not.
