Hi,

I'm looking for a CO2 airquality device (inhouse) which is able to be used in domoticz/dashticz to get an overview of the amount/level of CO2, and if ventilation is needed more yes/no.

On AliExpress I can see some CO2 devices, with nice screens etc. but not sure if they wifi/443Mhz capable and can be used in Domoticz.
I prefer not to build my own sensor, as the device should be also have a high WAF (with screen/buttons etc.) as it will be placed in the livingroom.

Anyone any tips or experiences with such a CO2 measuring device?

I haven't found any off-the-shelf CO2 meters with external communication capabilities.

I recently bought this device from aliexpress. But it should be considered a bull-shit meter instead of a CO2 meter.
The reason the device fails, is due to the automatic baseline calibration which is started when the device reboots. Since my device has some software flaws, it reboots every hour.
ABC is based on the assumption that a room is ventilated firmly every 24hrs. The calibration assumes that the lowest value measured during 24h should be considered 410ppm CO2. This is not a desirable function for a living-room.

This is the device

At this moment, the best solution I found is, something you don't like, but it is a self build sensor.
Used components:

- NodeMCU v2
- MH-Z19b sensor
- ESPEasy firmware
- Optional an oled screen
