I've severals Shelly 1, I can only read the status
I get the switch, witch indicates the status properly. But when I click on this device, I get the message "Switching On", but nothing happen.
As workaround I create a dummy switch and control the shelly with a http request, but this is not a useful solution.
Has anybody an idea how I can control the shelly directly?

Re: Shelly MQTT readonly
Hi,
Your post is not really clear for me, but is it your setting in MQTT hardware of "Prevent Loop"?

Hi
Thanks for your answer
I've the plugin Shelly MQTT and don't have the option "prevent loop".
With this plugin I can only read all stats of each shelly devices, works fine, but I can't control them.

Re: Shelly MQTT readonly
It is happening when you are enabling "Use custom MQTT prefix" feature. Status messages will come, but commands will never go through as the mqtt path hold necessary informations for the plugin.
Re: Shelly MQTT readonly
I researched and find the solution
Don't use prefixes, and it works like a charme
I seems we find at the same time this solution, but anyway, thanks a lot
