I am using Windows 10 and I want to move my Domoticz and deCONZ installation to another machine, because this one is terribly slow!
If I use the Phoscon web page and try to create a backup I get: "Creating backup failed" If I try to do the same thing on the server itself it doesn't even show the page to click the button to start creating the backup.
Now, I don't know where the backup file will be created, but since the machine is very slow I actually need every click to be spot on...

Re: deCONZ backup failed
Ha ?
Wich one deconz version have you ? Your server is on windows too ?
Probably a permission problem, have you try with more right ? Have you installed deconz with root access and using it with "pi" access ?
You have a firmware displayed during the procedure on Phoscon/Gateway ?
It can be too a session problem, try to disconnect from phoscon, clear cache, and re authentificate you.
Don't worry, if we don't success you will can too just copy the database file, but the phoscon fonction is easier, and less risky.
Another thing you can try is using the "authenticate app" in Phoscon / advanced / authenticate app, it have nothing to see with backup/restore, but the try is easy.

Re: deCONZ backup failed
I have tried some of these things. Currently I'm a little bit in a hurry. Will most likely get back to this later today. Of course I will notify people here and on GitHub if I found the solution.
Seems to be some rights thing indeed

Re: deCONZ backup failed
My server is on Windows too. So there is no "pi" access nor root access. I just need to know where Phoscon tries to save the file.
What troubles me is that more people have mentioned this issue and it was never solved, but the GitHub issue was closed. Seems to be something that shouldn't be too hard to fix

Re: deCONZ backup failed
Ok so I have find another way to make backup using webapp, in the old web app > Phoscon/help/old web app / setting/ show advanced config*
But for me it will work same.
I have config files in
I m checking the code that make the backup ATM, I don't see the defaut folder, but there is so much debug line, so yes, if you can run deconz in debug mode, I think we can find the problem.
Unfortunately it seem the only way to have debugging on windows is using that https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... /debugview
Cf https://github.com/dresden-elektronik/d ... issues/980

Re: deCONZ backup failed
It seems I can control the machine through Teamviewer again.

Re: deCONZ backup failed
TeamViewer is working again and I quickly setup RDP, so I am not relying on TeamViewer anymore. Let's see what they come up with... I need to work a little bit as well every now and then...
