Connecting arduino to RPi (domoticz)

Hello Gents,

I have fully working solution made on Arduino Mega (just to control lights via standard switches).

Now i would like to make it more Smart, by adding RPi (domoticz) to control it e.g via smartphone. I installed Domoticz sucessfully (the service / portal is available). The arduino is connected via USB to RPI - In hardware section i added mysensor USB gateway.

BUT i dont see any data from arduino on RPI - what am i making wrong ? - is it even possible to connected arduino and RPi via USB without any additional hardware ?

Hi,

Did you actually create a mysensors device? If not I think it is still possible, you can drive the gpio ports of the domoticz device, at least on a Pi, directly from Domoticz. The hardware to add is GPIO I believe. Google on the domoticz wiki and gpio haha.

Good luck!
