Somfy ax230 gate controller and RFxcom

Hello everyone

New on this forum (And in Domoticz) I just wanted to add my experience with an ax230 box controlling a garden gate with an RFxcom.

I had to search for some days because didn’t find any information on the web on this somfy model combined with an RFxcom.

Finally it’s working.

I had to install Domoticz on my laptop as of my gate is too far away from my NAS running Domoticz (Synology DS-411j).

First put the ax230 in “learning remote” (https://service.somfy.com/downloads/fr_v4/ax_230_ns.pdf only available in french)
With RFxmngr (on my laptop) put the protocols on 433,42mhz.
In RFY Choose “Blinds” then fill in unit Code and give an ID
Put the command (drop down list) to program and push “transmit”
Put the command to “up >2sec” and push “transmit”
Then put command to list remote and take note of the information’s (ID and rfu1 rfu2 and rfu3)

Open Domoticz and fill in the new switch with these information’s.
In Domoticz, use “Venetian Blinds EU” and save.
Normally it should work.

Actually I have a switch with 3 buttons but only one is working to open/close/stop the gate.
I have to refine this...
