I recently upgraded my complete system to 2020.2 and in a later moment I flashed the latest Pro1 firmware like suggested by [email protected]. This didn’t solve my problem as my temperature / humidity sensor GT-WT-02 which belongs to the Globaltronic GR-WS-08 (Aldi) is still not recognized. Never mind as I now use a sensor nearby. :D

I was focussed on that issue and didn’t notice why a new issue seemed to have started. As I was busy with blockly to create a script which would start my waterpump, which is placed in a waterornament in my garden, depending the temperature, time, and day of the week. Unfortunately I didn’t succeed. The pump never started. At my age I usually blame myself so I wondered what I changed regarding this switch. And that appeared to be nothing.
Today I noticed that the issue wasn’t the blockly script, as When I pusht the switch directly in Domoticz the pump didn’t start either. Later this afternoon I noticed that a second switch didn’t work either anymore. Both appeared to use lighting 1 impuls protocol now. I am almost certain that when I added a bunch of those switches that I used the ARC protocol.

Then I checked the RFX433E user guide to check the used codes. The first switch is an Impuls 10621 and the second one (one of six) is a profile FHT-7901.

It looks like this firmware can’t use the impuls protocol as no R nor T is mentioned.

So if I understand it correctly I am forced to flash another FW in the RFX433E then the PRO1 when using the impuls protocol.
Or am I mistaken. At my age it is allowed I hope. I am still a novice regarding Domoticz.

Does anyone has a manual of my switch?

I just checkt again. I am supposed to use the AB400D protocol to use with Impuls so I’m just told.
I tested with these settings.

which IMHO should be A 13 but no response. I wonder whether I read the settings right. I guess I am. I tested the full 64 places but no response yet. Therefor I’d like to see the original manual with dipswitch-settings of this switch.

Problem solved. As connecting with all possible codes (ARC, AB400D and Impuls) didn’t work, I flashed a previous FW, the EXT2 firmware in the RFX433E. Again I tested with ARC, AB400D and of course Impuls. The first two didn’t respond, Impuls actually did.

IMHO there might be a minor bug in the Pro FW as the AB400D code doesn’t work on Impuls coded hardware, like mentioned in de User guide. A minor change in this User guide can inform the user not to use the latest FW when using Impuls coded hardware and the actual issue can be solved in new drivers. A kind of workaround that offered me the ‘solution’. It took me quite some time but eventually I learned that the newest drivers aren’t always the best. :D That depends which hardware is used.

I am satisfied again and hope that this topic will be helpfull for those with the same issue.
