Automation ina new house - the tool for the job

Hi everyone, I am new here but I will try to get straight to the point.
We are currently building a house and we are on the market for some fairly simple home automation that I will control 100% without any blackbox from unknown vendor.
I am looking for information if maybe Domoticz will help me do what I want/need.

What I want to see and do:
1) 4 facade blinds (the ones that have blades that can be set at any angle to pass light) with Somfy motor (no somfy.io) - I want to be able to set the position and the angle of the blades by hand (from phone and maybe a wall mounted device) and have possibility to automate it;
2) 10 regular facade blinds with Somfy motor (no somfy.io) - set position of the blind by hand (from phone and maybe a wall mounted device) and possibility to automate it;
3) garage door with Somfy Metro (no somfy.io) - posibility to open garage door based on proximity, from phone and remote controll;
4) Panasonic heat pump (generation J) - see statistics and alerts;
5) recuperator Zender ComfoAir Q basic - set power output from phone;
6) aircon LG AC12BQ (only 2/3 unis, not per room) - disable, enable from phone, set temperature, posibility to automate;
7) solar panels power inverter - see statistics and alerts;
8) lights - trun on/off from phone, wall mounted switches, master switch i master bedroom ti disable all ligths;
9) set temperature in rooms - this is a tricky one. The company that will make our heat/solar/recuperator installations wants to add a device in each room to gather temperature and steer the heat pump (Salus VS35W probably) but my understanding is that it will only talk to the heat pump and there is no chance to have it on phone. I am looking for a better solution, one that will steer both heat pump but also air-con and possibly blinds. I do like the idea to have a wall mouted device for quick access but I do not want to have separate for all devices. Am I asking too much here? :)

Are those things doable? Am I in the right place? :) Can anyone tell me what will I need to buy or somehow estimate cost of implementation?
I am looking at Domoticz (and OpenHab) because I would like to do it myself (I am new to this but I am a technical person so I wanted to try it) and I do not want any communication via 3rd party. I plan to have it air-gapped and will add Internet access only when I feel like it.

Thanks!

When you're looking for home automation alone then go for home assistant or similar.
When you're going for ease then domoticz is the one.
When you're in for other projects besides then domoticz is first choice.

Some thoughts:
When you buy a closed system it doesn't offer all the tools.
Your in for an open system. Do not be surprised if it doesn't offer all the tools.
Domoticz offers input from the community and new developments all the time. (So does openhab of course)

What I like about the RPI is that it offers me PiHole, PiVPN and more besides the home automation.
The flip side is that one can srcrew up a running system.
Be aware to always have recent backups present to be able to reset your home automation at once.

Automated backups should be the core of your setup.

Are you backing up your home computer?

Hi, thanks for the replies.

Any suggestions what should actuators I should look into for the scenarios I am interested in? I cannot seem to find anything online, for example, about steering those blinds or somfy metro motor for garage door.
