Hi guys,

How do I rebuild the neighbours of my z-wave network?

My "Node 23" -- is basically 4ft away from the little Node 36", so It should be talking. It's much closer then the nodes its connecting to.

Thanks for the help

Does everything work?
If yes, why bother?

No - the ones with only 1 or a few neighbours work randomly - I’d say 90% of the time they are ok - but it’s annoying when I see lights haven’t turned off in the morning. :(

So is there a way to make it rebuild all the neighbours???

I would start with a network heal. Give it plenty of time to complete, maybe even wake sleeping devices.
If that doesn't work there are commands in OZWCP that might work. Like 'Request Network update' and 'Request node neighbour update'.

Hi Egregius - when I look in OZWCP, the “request network update” - you select a node.

Can you give me any advice on using these functions. Will it delete all my nodes, or clear names, etc.

Is there anywhere you read how to use these functions. As I’m finding nothing on google.

Many thanks!

What can go wrong with a 'update' command? As long as you don't use the 'remove', 'delete' etc commands nothing changes.
And if it does? So what, exclude/include that node again and you're back.
