I could have an opportunity to work and integrate such Radiator Thermostat on the Zigate Plugin for Domoticz.

Can’t find any pricing info yet, so don’t know yet. I have Bluetooth comets now and would like these more for sure. But the price tag will decide...

For 60 euro it isn’t on top of my wishlist. If I replace 6 or 8 valves it will be a lot of money and the return on investment is low.

I got one of these new radiator valves.

It works great, connected by Zigbee (Conbee II stick and Deconz)

Yes, they have implemented their firmware in the right way, and are very compliant to the Zigbee Alliance Standard, so integration should be quiet straightforward

@competer, how did you manage to pair the danfoss ally to your Conbee II ?
I tried searching for a Sensor in the Deconz app and resetting the Danfoss, but Deconz does not find the Danfoss.
I have the newest firmware and deconz version running on my Pi.

Just another question:
Does anyone know if i can get a heating request status from the Ally? Can I check if the valve is open?
I want to use it to regulate the supplier temperatur only if there is a heating demand in a room.

With the ZiGate-Plugin integration, yes you get the Valve % so you have indeed the heating demand

Sorry I was not precise enouth, I'm using Deconz. Is it also possible with it? I don't see a device with this information.

At least the device it self has the capability to report the Heating demand. May be @smanar will comment on that for deConz

IF I m right you will have 3 entries created in deconz, the setheatpoint, the temperature and a selector switch with mode (name is finishing by _mode), the last one can be used to check for device state.

I'm looking at this setup with the Danfoss Ally an the Conbee II. Do I need anything else, besides these 2 and Domoticz (running on RPi) of course? The Deconz Github mentions a "Dresden Elektronik gateway". Do I need that?

The "Dresden Elektronik gateway" is the conbee 2.
And this gateway can work with zigbee2mqtt or deconz.

I do have another question.

I can't get the Danfoss Ally to pair with the conbee 2 and zigbee2mqtt. Everything is working, but the Danfoss keeps showing a blinking antenna.

I can see the controller in Domoticz, but that's about it.

Already reset the Danfoss to factory default, but also no go.

Any tips on this?
