Domoticz

Hello. I have a problem. i don't get some things in my domoticz well like my samsung tv, and tuya switches. I have this working in my google home speaker. this means that my speaker is now smarter as domoticz. Now I actually want to know if there is also a plugin for google home in domoticz that takes the devices out of the google home. so that I can get them in domoticz somehow.

You can make domoticz as smart as you want.

Take a look at https://github.com/Ape/samsungctl as you can see you can control your samsung tv by sending commands via url. If you use these urls in your domoticz switches, you can control your tv with domoticz. Take a look at my blog, I have done the same for my philips tv.

You can reflash the tuya devices with custom firmware with mqtt inside.

I have seen and tried this. but i couldn't get it done. so I restored my backup. have been dabbling on it for 3 days. maybe if you want / can help me through team viewer? because would you really like to get it going?

I agree, I also haven't been able to get samsungctl working on my Q series samsung tv. looking forward for someone to get this done and would like to share it.

I recommend everyone moving away from IFTTT as cloud services are hardly reliable or quick for home automation tasks.

While it is good for quick and dirty systems or ones that already rely on web services it is a godsend. It was originally at the core of my home automation setup and what got me into doing a little more research for something better.
