Hi all,
maybe there is already something like this, but i would like to share it with you,
Resently i bought a nest hello doorbell and didn't find a good way to connect it with domoticz.
the nest hello works with the normal doorbell so i replaced the gong/ringer with a ESP-01
set as a switch so it can be logged and maybe used for notifications or someting.
set up is simple, connector 24v AC-> rectifier -> LM117 3.3V -> optocoupler -> esp-01 GPIO-2
other side 5V DC-> LM117 3.3v -> Esp-01

software used; ESPEasy R147, common switch

Re: Doorbell circuit for Nest Hello
I’ve been wondering if there was a way to get the doorbell signal into Domoticz, I have a wireless chime that I can activate through Domoticz so this looks like the perfect solution to my problem, have you got a little more info on wiring and setup please?
