Want to give access to change values for a set-point

I have made a system for controlling the flow of hot water flowing through pipes in the flor. This is used for heating an apartment, and I do not want the user to have administrative rights, since he then might damage the system by trying to change things himself.

I have given him reader access, but that means he cannot change the values of the set-points I use to define the values for the temperatures in the room.

How can I give him access to the set-point without granting him admin access?
