i have a zigate with 39 nodes, most of them a battery powered, but i think i have read somewhere that the zigate only handle about 40 nodes, is this correct?
im asking since im about to order some more zigate switches, not battery powered thought.

yep, you are the limit, zigate cannot handle more than 40 nodes.

Man that sucks, why is it only 40 nodes? Will this be change in the future?

Yes, there are some work on going to create a Zigate with a bigger memory and so handle more devices, then there is some work on extending the current one by a way or and other.

Better that you discuss with Akila the Zigate vendor, as myself I'm just a user of Zigate
