despite cache was deleted from different browsers I keep getting the message about a new domoticz version available, 11838. But when I check my version in the about it says Version: 2020.1 Build Hash: 63fa969e4 which seems to be the latest. Am I wrong and there's a later version Domoticz is identifying?
BTW would be nice to get the build version in the About instead (or in addition) of the build hash which is less human readable.

Did you set the release channel at [Setup][Settings][System] -Software updates- to Beta or to Stable ?
There is no new Stable but there are new Beta's

Already in beta

To stable, never changed it. Just checked in case it was accidentally changed but no, still set as Stable.

Can you try and press the button ?
Just make sure you have a recent and working backup of your domoticz directory

ok, I see you like playing with fire. just finished launching the update and it actually did something as now I am in a different build.
now I have the build number in the About box, something you said was added to the beta. So everything looks like it's got me into the beta despite my setting to stay in Stable.

No you are stil on stable
I guess @gizmocuz rebuilt a stable for linux to include this.

Silly me, I searched for the latest stable available and thought I was on it already, my mistake. Thanks for your help!
