Revert to previous version

Hi, I have a RPi3b+ running osmc. For this reason I think I cannot run the latest domoticz 2020 ver. In fact it doesn't work anymore. Yesterday it was all ok, then an update message appeared in the web interface, so I updated it, but it was an error. I read today after wasting hours that a new version of linux is needed and I can't update it. So my question is: how do i revert to previous version? I found in the github page a section called releases in which i found this release "Stable Release 4.10717" but I don't know how to instll it and I can't find a guide about how to install it. Can anyone help me?

edit: I didn't make a backup

edit edit: I found an sd card which contains a versione of domoticz that i don't update from last year. So if I copy the domoticz folder from that sd home/pi/domoticz to /home/osmc after I install the current 2020 ver.1 it should work, doesn't it?

I choose the version tagged 4.10726 on the source control
I must adapt the script because I have 2 errors, one about Lua 5.2 (the 5.3 version was installed in the document) and the other is about the BOOST library.
I do quick and ugly, I remove the 2 tests but It works fine.

I have the same problem. I tried to view my domoticz pages but could not get past the pop-up that told me to ugrade to 2020-1.
No notes on having to install a new OS first. Now my system doesn't work. No back-up made.
So pls advice with detailed instructions on either:
1 - revert to the previous version of Domoticz
2 - how to upgrade to the lastest Debian/Raspian version in order to get Domoticz working
I still have acces to my RP3+ through Putty and/or Winscp.
I hope anyone can help/
For future releases pls add the option not to install the update (was not possible this time) or warn the people that a needs an updated version of the OS to work. I had a perfect working system before this happened.

Decided to go ahead and try to upgrade to Buster on my Pi3+
Followed the outlines on the following site:

This indeed upgraded Stretch to Buster.
But Domoticz 2020.1 was still unreachable, but running updaterelease in the domoticz directory (through the terminal server) fixed that problem.

Meanwhile I tried to install ver. 4.10717 -> fail and 4.10659 -> fail. I had problem because of boost. Actually in CMakeLists.txt there's this line:

I've found a issue post on github (obviously now I can't find it

) in which someone had same error, about the version of boost. I edited 10600 and replaced with 1.6.0 I don't know if this can be a problem.

I choose the version V4.10717 by a checkout on the label "4.10717"
I think you have some trouble trouble with the BOOST library.
Have you any error when you have generated it ?
Maybe am I lucky but I don't have any problem to generate it....

no, it seemed to be ok when I generated it. I found this old sd card with an installation of ver 4.10717 so I simply copied the folder.

Was it the arm7l version? Can you upload the directory online to be downloaded?

Think it is, the main download page says "Arm 32bit(Raspberry/Cubie/...) and if you hover over the file to download it's called domoticz_linux_armv7l.tgz
Do you have this file for the previous stable release or anyone else for that matter?

Same at my installation.
But I was stuck at; Linking CXX executable domoticz, it appeared that OpenZwave 1.6 was blocking my installation, so I did the following steps to install 1.4;
rm -rf open-zwave-read-only/
git clone
