First things first, what are you running on the pi and did you do to find out the reason it crashed?
And if you are running the pi from the sd card did you setup a ram drive and redirect your log to that to save the sd card?

If you have done that and nothing seems wrong and it still crashes because of not enough resources or something then look into something like an intel nuc

I've moved my system just yesterday from the pi to a virtual machine running Ubuntu 19 on my synology NAS.
The pi crashed every 15 min. without being able to trace the problem, I've copied the db to a Domoticz install on the VM including a P1 Smart Cable USB and Aeotec ZWave Gen5 Stick on USB. Pretty painless to do and running much quicker now in addition.

I have had my system on a pi for years without crashes. I did move from SD to a WD pidrive and I have seen others using other storage solutions (eg ssd). I like the pi as it has more than enough performance and power is really low.

Key question is why the crashes?
