Feature request: Extra field variables

Use this forum to discuss possible implementation of a new feature before opening a ticket.
A developer shall edit the topic title with "[xxx]" where xxx is the id of the accompanying tracker id.
Duplicate posts about the same id. +1 posts are not allowed.

A variable has three fields: Name, Type and Value (200 char).

Would it be possible to add an extra field where you could store json or a description with more information?

I call the variables via the API and I would like to use it for a friendly name, possible values and so on.
