Hello all,
At this moment I've a Philips HUE Gateway.
What is you're advise about control of devices and scenes etc.?
Should I change to a Zigbee stick and deCONZ?
Is this type of control easier to handle?
Thx in advance.
Mike

Hi,
If you want to use only HUE device, stay with HUE Gateway.
If you want to use more manufacturer use Deconz.
deconz use the same api than HUE, so the difference is on the plugin that use this API, and I don't know the HUE one. It depend too if you are using HUE applications and like them, not all HUE applications are working with deconz and I think less every days, hard to maintain HUE software compatibility (but no problem with hardware, Hue stuff works realy well on deconz/zigate/zigbe2mqtt)

I've got 5 hue light strips which I've been controlling via Zigbee2mqtt for about a year, its been very reliable.

I would support @Thorgal789 if you want to use only HUE device, stay like tha, I don't see the benefit going for something else.
Now if you want to mix the brand of ZIgbee devices, then you can go for Zigbee stick available , just check what you want to do as the integration level and/or the way to operate can change a bit from one to the other.
