Slider hue dimmer behaving strange

Hi all,
Convinced my wife I need a new ipad for dashticz
so the WAF for using it is there.
We have some HUE lights and when I slide the slider on one of the blocks the screen swipes left and right, depending on where you plan to slide the slider. So the slider does not actually slide, instead the dashboard slides left-right. Annoying and no good for WAF. You have to really touch the slider button center: a mm next to it results in the behaviour described. What can I do? Anyone experiencing the same? Should I increase the slider? suggestions? I really like dashticz!
