idle problem with domoticz on ubuntu

Hi everyone,
I have been using domoticz for quite a few years on windows. recently I decided to move it to ubuntu. I installed domoticz on ubuntu server 16.04. everything works fine except that after the system is idle for a few hours my domoticz stops working. trying to open domoticz page in browser results in 404 not found error and i get the following in the log:

Error: EventSystem: in /home/USER/domoticz/dzVents/runtime/dzVents.lua: cannot open /home/USER/domoticz/dzVents/runtime/dzVents.lua: No such file or directory

just an SSH connection to the server (without doing anything) fixes the problem and it works for about 10 hours or so.
can anyone help?

(running service domoticz status shows that the service has been running fine for about 10 days)

does your disk start sleeping?

Domoticz at least is trying to find the file.....
