No plugins directory on a debian install

Hello,
I just made a fresh install of Ubuntu (Linux Mint) and Domoticz using 'curl -sSL install.domoticz.com | sudo bash'.
Everything works fine (Mysensors And RFlink gateways are working perfectly), but I can't install python plugins.
After the installation of Domoticz, no plugins directory was found in /home/myname/domoticz/
I created it myself and downloaded the PP-MANAGER but it doesn't work (PP-MANAGER is not in the hardware list after a reboot).
I use to have domotocz on a RPi with the plugins directory working. Now I use an old laptop as a server.
Thank you for your help.
