Smart Life can't turn on/off a Globe Suite Lightbulb using IFTTT

I have a Globe Suite Lightbulb that is connected to the smart life app. I can control it through the app just fine.

However, when I create an IFTTT trigger (tried a couple triggers including the button press), it fires the action and I get a message saying it did, but nothing happens to the bulb.

So my guess is that smart life isn't receiving the IFTTT command properly.
