Hi all,

We moved to another house and my intention is to “domoticz-ize” it as much as possible using existing equipment. The Itho CVE66 ventilation box has no rf or other connectivity on it A very dumb device having one control knob in the shower, connected by means of a Perilex plug.

At the www I found explanations on how to make a ventilation box smart and control it using domoticz. That’s however using the newer eco one.

Anyone here who tried to domoticz-ize their old ventilation box? For me soldering and cutting wires is not a problem if needed :)

Hi!

I use a RPi Relay Board for controlling my ITHO CVU. There is a nice script to control your CVU using humidity sensors in the bathroom.
Perhaps that would work for you.

I have something like this running now for more then a year, works perfect!

Hi,
I use this configuration for years now : https://www.robbshop.nl/domotica/projec ... ventilatie
In combination with a humidity sensor in the bathroom.

(mine has two fan's, so when humidity is lower then x only one fan spins, if the humidity rises above a threshold, the second fan kicks in until humidity is lower then x, the second fan stops)

Regard's
