Hello all,

I build an ethernet gateway which seems to work fine, thorugh serial monitor i get no errors.
then when i try to connect a node they don't get an id assigned.
i get the following output. i now use a example sketch from mysensors.

406833 TSM:ID
406834 TSM:ID:REQ
406837 TSF:MSG:SEND,255-255-0-0,s=50,c=3,t=3,pt=0,l=0,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:
408844 TSM:ID
408845 TSM:ID:REQ
408848 TSF:MSG:SEND,255-255-0-0,s=13,c=3,t=3,pt=0,l=0,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:
410855 !TSM:ID:FAIL
410856 TSM:FAIL:CNT=7
410858 TSM:FAIL:DIS
410860 TSF:TDI:TSL

Which mysensors network are you using?
For RS485 auto ID is not working for example.

Which network? i'm using an ethernet gateway.
MySensors is a network of nodes connected to Domoticz through the gateway ( ethernet or USB ).
Nodes are connected to gateway via radio ( NRF24 or RFM69 ) or RS485 bus.
Nodes can ask gateway for node ID and gateway will send them unique ID.
But this is not working with RS485bus.
Gateway has always ID=0.
So if you have got only ethernet gateway and sensors connected to it, ID will be 0.
Or you mean sensor ( or child ) ID instead of node ID in your question.
